Privacy notice

What data this website collects, what we use it for, and how to exercise your rights. In short: only what you write to us, only to reply to you.

Who is responsible

StatPulse, based in Costa Rica, is responsible for the personal data collected on this website. You can reach us about any privacy matter through the contact form.

What we collect

Only what you give us through the contact form:

  • Name, company and email address.
  • Phone or WhatsApp number, if you choose to include it.
  • The topics you are interested in and the message you write.

Along with the message we store the IP address it was sent from and the date, solely to prevent abuse and automated submissions.

What we use it for

To answer your enquiry and follow up on the conversation you started. We do not sell it, we do not share it with third parties for marketing, and we will not send you newsletters or advertising without your explicit consent.

Where it is stored

Messages are stored on the server that hosts this website, on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States, and we are notified of them by email. Both providers apply industry standard security measures.

How long we keep it

For as long as there is a business relationship or an ongoing conversation, and up to 24 months after the last contact. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Technical cookies are only set when an authorized person logs in to manage the site.

Your rights

Under Costa Rica’s Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Individuals with Regard to the Processing of their Personal Data, you may at any time request access to your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its processing. Write to us through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also contact Costa Rica’s data protection agency, PRODHAB.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle data, we will update this notice and the date below.
